Single Touch Payroll

Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a new Government initiative aimed at streamlining business payroll reporting obligations. It is now a lawful obligation, and is legislated to commence for businesses with more than 20 employees from 1 July 2018.

STP will revolutionise the way employers report payroll information to the ATO. As a business you will be in charge of reporting all payments, including salaries, wages, PAYG, superannuation and withholding information directly to STP, at the same time as paying your employees.
